Artist statement:

'The Ties That Heal' is a tribute to the quiet power of organ donation. Set in a museum, this artwork features portraits of donors and recipients connected by glowing threads, which symbolise the life-giving ties that unite them. The silhouettes remind us that anyone can be a hero, and their impact can reach far beyond their own life. In the middle, a young girl gazes at the portraits, representing the future shaped by these acts of compassion. This piece reflects how healing does not just come from healing or medical experts, but from the selfless love of strangers and their loved ones.
