Artist statement:

My artwork shows a mother who is donating an organ before her final breath of life with her son crying on her. However, as the sunlight shines on her, it reflects on the floor, revealing the hope that an organ donor can bring about to others who need help. One of the tiles shows clocks, showing how time is running out for those in need of an organ in order to live. I intend to show how gratitude can be expressed through actions and can bring about hopeful outcomes, when accompanied by support given by the public or people around us.
