Artist statement:

My artwork depicts the ripple effect arising from the act of organ donation. A person gently releases a paper boat into the water, symbolising the selfless gift of an organ. Each boat bears an emblem of a heart, eye, and kidney, representing different donated organs. As the boat touches the surface, it sets off a vibrant, glowing ripple that moves outward, symbolising how one act of generosity can inspire transformation and new beginnings. The trail of colour and light reflects the spread of compassion, hope, and advocacy. Gratitude here is more than an emotion. Instead, it becomes a dynamic force, inspiring action, healing, and a cycle of continued giving.
