Artist statement:
This artwork is split into four different quadrants, each representing a different body part. The top left quadrant is the eye, vibrant and shining, allowing us to witness the beauty and colours in our lives. The top right quadrant features the lungs. The air we breathe does not just keep us alive, it is also the fuel that allows us to express ourselves verbally, whether be it through speech or song. The bottom left quadrant show the kidneys, silently helping us to clear waste from our bodies. While they may go unnoticed, they are absolutely important organs that we shouldn't take for granted. Lastly, the bottom right quadrant depicts the liver. The powerhouse of our body, giving us the energy to do what we love and keep going each day. At the center of the artwork, the girl represents us, highlighting how all of our organs come together to form a complete and unique individual. Overall, 'Organic Love' represents the fact that each organ in our body plays an important role in making us who we are today. We should 'love' our organs and treat them well, not let them go to waste.
