Theme: Organic Perspectives

Artist statement:

This piece explores the quiet, emotional connection created through organ donation. Two humans within a circular space, suspended between life and loss, linked by a glowing center, which is the transfer of life itself. Surrounding organs and anatomical forms drift like memories, representing both fragility and survival. The contrast between warm and cool tones reflects grief and hope existing at the same time. One figure appears peaceful, almost ascending, while the other reaches downward - suggesting the invisible bond between donor and recipient. Though strangers, they become permanently connected through sacrifice, compassion, and renewal. At its core, this artwork portrays organ donation not as an ending, but as a continuation of life carried through another soul.
