Theme: Organic Perspectives

Artist statement:

This artwork depicts the transition of a newly-transplanted heart. This heart has found a new body to live in, and is doing its best to make its new body better and healthier than it ever was. The pale, dark and grey body slowly transforms into a cacophony of warm colours as the heart does its best to revive the dying body into a place of hope and comfort by tidying up the old body as if it was a newly-moved-in house. But after its work, the body is sure to be a home. While it may seem an old body to those watching, to the heart it is a new home where new and renewed life can brew.
