Artist statement:

This artwork explores the different perspectives surrounding organ donation. The large heart contains many smaller detailed elements, each representing the emotions, experiences, and the people involved in the journey of donors and transplant recipients. Through this drawing, I wanted to show that organ donation is made up of many interconnected stories, perspectives, and acts of hope.
