Theme: Organic Perspectives

Artist statement:

This artworks depicts little orbs using the ribcage for the remembrance of each memory in this girl who stumbled upon her own body through a coma as she recalls her core memory displayed through her heart and the other fond memories which are placed at the front. Meanwhile, the other dull and foggy memories get dispose through the centre of the ribcage, just like how our body takes care of us by disposing the negative organics away in order to protect us. Additionally, the core memory slowly drips into the water with other previous core memories as it slowly becomes forgotten when a new core memory forms, just like how our heart always transports new cells to keep the blood fresh and new while disposing the older ones. Overall this artwork shows that our memories are linked with our body.
