Theme: Organic Perspectives

Artist statement:

'A Whole New World' depicts a heart, falling into a world full of the senses. The smell of the fresh found in nature, the taste of the food in the vending machine, the sounds of music flowing from different musicians and the tactile imagery of bubble wrap, mosaic and brick buildings highlights the different senses which envelop the heart. This highlights the power of organ donation, giving the heart and the recipient a second chance at life. It gets to see and experience the world from a new perspective, in its new body, allowing it to reimagine the world from a different lens and embracing the liveliness of the new world created.
