Dear Mr Wong,
I hope this letter finds you in the best of spirits. I am writing to you with great enthusiasm and excitement regarding a proposal I have for our beloved Math teacher, Mrs. Smith.
Recently, I came across some incredibly inspiring news that deeply impacted me. It was about Mrs. Smith's selfless act of donating her kidney to an unknown stranger. This news truly touched my heart and left a lasting impression on me. It made me realise the immense kindness and compassion that exist in our world, and it reminded me of the importance of empathy and selflessness.
In light of Mrs. Smith's remarkable deed, I believe it is only fitting for us, her students, to show our appreciation and gratitude for her generosity. Therefore, I propose organising a special celebration in her honour once she returns from her one-month leave.
For the celebration, I envision our class coming together to express our heartfelt thanks to Mrs. Smith. We could organise a surprise party with decorations, heartfelt messages, and perhaps even some personalised gifts to show our appreciation. Additionally, we could prepare a special tribute or presentation highlighting Mrs. Smith's incredible act of kindness and its significance to us as her students.
I believe it is crucial to have this celebration for several reasons. Firstly, it serves as an opportunity for us to express our gratitude and admiration for Mrs. Smith's selfless act. By coming together as a class, we can show her how much her kindness means to us and how deeply we appreciate her dedication as our teacher.
Secondly, celebrating Mrs. Smith's act of kindness reinforces the values of empathy, compassion, and altruism within our school community. It sends a powerful message that acts of kindness, no matter how big or small, have a profound impact and deserve recognition.
Lastly, organising this celebration allows us to strengthen the bond between students and teachers, fostering a sense of unity and camaraderie within our class. It reminds us that we are not just a group of individuals, but a supportive community that cares for and appreciates one another.
In conclusion, I sincerely hope you will consider my proposal for organising a celebration to honour Mrs. Smith. I am confident that such an event would not only bring joy to Mrs. Smith but also serve as a meaningful and memorable experience for all of us. Thank you for considering my suggestion, and I look forward to hearing your thoughts on this matter.
Warmest Regards,
Yashika Das
