Dear Charmaine,
I hope this message finds you well. I was heartbroken to learn about your father’s untimely death in the recent road traffic accident. Losing a loved one could be one of the most devastating experiences anyone can go through, and I cannot fully imagine the weight of your sorrow. I would like to express my deepest condolences to you and your family during this challenging period. I also wanted to let you know that my thoughts are with you and your family and that you are not alone.
When I came across the article about your father’s passing, I was moved not only by the sadness of the event but also by the profound act of kindness and compassion. He has given people who were vulnerable and hopeless at one point the gift of health and life. Those who went to sleep unsure if they would ever open their eyes again. The impact he has made on the lives of the six patients is truly remarkable. His selflessness has given others a second chance at life, a gift that has changed their lives in ways words can hardly express. Even in his absence, his kindness and compassion live on in the patients whom he has helped.
You should feel incredibly proud of your father. His selflessness and altruism speak volumes about the type of person he was. He was someone who cared for others, and this can be clearly seen even after his passing. During this tough period, I hope you are comforted to know that your father’s actions have made a huge and lasting impact on those he has assisted.
I know that this time must feel overwhelming in many different ways, emotionally and otherwise. Please know that you do not have to go through this alone. If there is anything I can help you with, whether it is having someone to rant to, helping you manage your schoolwork, or giving you the space you need, I am here for it. It is totally fine to take things one day at a time and to ask for support when you need it. Truly, just knowing that someone is there for you can mean everything. Whether if it’s about school or navigating through your emotions, please do not hesitate to reach out.
The road ahead may not be smooth and easy but I have no doubt that you will always stay strong. Grief is not something which anyone can get over, it becomes a part of us, something we slowly learn to carry with the love and resilience he showed. There is no right way to feel and certainly no set timeline to overcome it. Some days may feel heavier than others and that is completely normal. Be kind to yourself as you move forward.
Your father’s story has indeed touched many hearts, including mine. His act of selflessness and compassion reminded me of how powerful a single act of selflessness and kindness can be. His bravery and generosity will always be cherished. You are part of something really meaningful and I hope that brings you strength and comfort in the days to come.
Please take care of yourself and remember that I am thinking of you and your family. Sending you love and strength during this difficult time.
With deepest sympathy,
Bheema Lokesh Yuktha
